Boston Common Portraits of Strangers

  • This project started with a spontaneous thought before the summer of 2022 - what if I offer to take strangers’ portraits? With the sudden free time on my hand, one morning, I drew a cardboard sign, grabbed my camera, and headed straight to Boston Common. ‘If no one comes up, I’ll just sit and watch puppies play in the sun,’ I remember comforting myself. Little did I know, I would meet so many friendly faces. Some encounters turned into long-lasting friendships.

Dear ‘strangers’, if you see yourself or your loved ones here, thanks for coming up to me and letting me capture a glimpse of your summer.
