Why Photography?
y journey with photography began when I first picked up a black & white film camera the summer of 2018 at Wellesley College. Perhaps it was the time I took to frame a shot, or the struggle to load the film in a pitch black room, even the all nighter I pulled in the darkroom, making ridiculous number of prints just to get the perfect one - I fell in love with photography.
During the one-year quarantine away from my hometown, Shanghai, I had a chance to slow down and capture the fleeting moments with a digital camera.

ow I shoot for magazines, events, individual clients, and take my camera with me on little adventures, too.
Photography has been the perfect medium for me to appreciate the world and share my feelings. I hope I will never forget why I started.
